A Poem to my mother-in-law
Ma Miss, you called me Manju’ and I called you Senior Manju’ (the mother of the compound),
Your kindness has inspired me in more ways than one.
The time we shared together especially the last 7 years meant so much to me and I had a lot of fun.
You taught me the true meaning of a mother’s love.
I called you my mother, and you called me your mother
You reminded me when I was in doubt to look up above to Jesus
Your strength was amazing through the hard time you faced.
You’re more than a mother-in-law, you’re a best friend of mine
I can hear you singing with angels in heaven, those songs we sang together
You loved heaven and were determined to keep your faith to the end
Yes You did. Well done Ma Miss. Enjoy eternity in the bosom of your maker
Till we meet to part no more
Rev Rosaline Fumfon Nyama (Manju’) – your daughter-in-law
